how to submit

Vandercave Quarterly is currently OPEN to submissions for our fifth issue, which will come in spring 2017. We will stop accepting submissions on March 1, 2017.

We are looking for humour. By “humour,” we mean anything with a sense of levity. Read our issues to get a feel of what we're interested in. Submissions can be from any media: writing, illustration, film, podcasts, music, etc. We ask that all written material be previously unpublished, and that all submissions from other media be not previously publicly available on the Internet. For written material, we prefer submissions to be 1,250 words or fewer, but that is not a strict policy.

Send your submissions to Submit only one piece at a time. For written material, please paste your submission into the body of the email. For all submissions, include the piece, the title of the piece, your name, where you are from and a bio written in the third person.

Thank you for taking the time to read our submission policy, which, considering this is a humour magazine, consisted of surprisingly few jokes.
