A Note from the Editors

Hi! We're Jordan and Tom, the editors of Vandercave Quarterly. Jordan is a beautiful angel with golden hair and eyes that you want to crawl inside of and fall asleep in and Tom is a thinking, feeling bowl of slime. We put this fun website together to share silly, joyful, weird things that we like with you people. This is our first issue ever, and we think it's full of great things.

There will be new issues quarterly and they will all be very good. Sounds great, right? We're really looking forward to them!

If you'd like to submit  — and we sure would like you to  — check out our submissions page

Anyways, go read this thing!

Love,

Jordan and Tom

FILM

NICE IS COOL

director: Ben Petrie

Amidst preposterous recollections of his past, a grown man relives his singular memory of what it felt like to be a little boy.

Ben Petrie is a Toronto based writer and director. He is the youngest of eight children, which must be the root of his existential yearning to make people laugh. His films are personal and outlandish in equal measure. You can see more of Ben's work at proofofben.com
